The much-anticipated new Star Wars film is to be set 30 years after the events in 1983 film Return of the Jedi.

Not much has been revealed about the film, besides the fact that JJ Abrams will be directing it and numerous casting rumours, but with a confirmed shoot date of May 2014, it looks like any news about Star Wars: Episode VII will be kept under wraps for a while.

Star Wars: Episode VII is scheduled for release on 18th December 2015.
