Cinematographer Roger Deakins, who was a key member in the team behind Skyfall, will not be returning for the forthcoming Bond film, aka. Bond 24.

The announcement comes from Kris Tapley of In Contention, who was directly informed by Deakins himself. Rumour is a-foot with regards to his next move; he has been working on Coen Brothers' war drama Unbroken, starring Angelina Jolie, as well as the upcoming animated sequel How to Train Your Dragon 2 as a consultant.

Bond 24 will be written by John Logan and directed by Sam Mendes, with Daniel Craig returning as James Bond. It is scheduled for release on 25th October 2015 in the UK and 6th November 2015 in the US.
