Woody Allen's latest comedy, Blue Jasmine, starring Cate Blanchett is scheduled for a UK DVD, Blu-ray and download release on 17th February. Extras appear limited to 'notes from the red carpet' and the cast press conference...

Cate Blanchett stars in this exquisite comedy-drama that has been universally acclaimed as a cinematic masterpiece. Submerse yourself in a gripping portrayal of a woman on the edge, as BLUE JASMINE comes to Blu-ray, DVD and Digital Download on 17 February 2014.

Already acclaimed as the biggest Woody Allen (Midnight in Paris, Annie Hall, Manhattan) ‘hit’ of all time and from the producers of Vicky Christina Barcelona and Match Point comes the movie event of the year. Brimming with emotive melancholy, scathing satire and intelligent humour, this latest endeavour from screen royalty is a moving character study into the denouement of one woman’s life, from social elite to nervous wreck.

BLUE JASMINE features an impeccable cast lead by the Oscar® Winner Cate Blanchett (The Hobbit, The Aviator, Notes on a Scandal) as New York debutant Jasmine Francis. BLUE JASMINE also stars Oscar® nominee Alec Baldwin (To Rome With Love, The Departed, Beetlejuice) as her fugitive husband Harold, Golden Globe® winner Sally Hawkins (Made in Dagenham, Submarine, Happy-Go-Lucky) as Jasmine’s adoptive sister Ginger and Peter Sarsgaard (The Killing, Green Lantern, Orphan) as aspiring politician Dwight Westlake. Boasting a strong supporting cast including Bobby Cannavale (Lovelace, Boardwalk Empire, Win Win) as auto-mechanic and Ginger’s fiancé Chili and comedian Louis CK (American Hustle, Parks and Recreation) as Ginger’s lover, Al.

After everything in her life falls to pieces, including her marriage to wealthy businessman Hal, elegant New York socialite Jasmine moves into her sister Ginger’s modest apartment in San Francisco to try to pull herself back together again.
