Described as “a laugh-out-loud, outrageous black sex farce” by the Hollywood Reporter and “one of the year’s funniest films” by Twitch, the highest grossing Hong Kong film of 2012, Pang Ho-Cheung’s VULGARIA, is heading to UK DVD and Blu-ray courtesy of Third Window Films.
Pang Ho-Cheung (Dream Home, You Shoot I Shoot, AV) is the bad boy and one of the masters of contemporary Hong Kong cinema. VULGARIA is a comedy centred on a veteran film producer with major financial and family troubles who is lured into remaking a classic adult movie for the leader of a triad gang. It is both a witty satire of the film industry and a gross-out comedy: hilarious, raucous and totally outrageous.
Accompanied by a ‘making of’ featurette and the theatrical trailer, VULGARIA will be released on April 15th, 2013.
