Lady Snowblood in September

Arrow Video have announced the UK DVD and Blu-ray release of Lady Snowblood on 24 September 2012. From the original manga by Kasuo Koike (Lone Wolf and Cub) and the main inspiration for Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill, Lady Snowblood is a blood spattered Samurai masterpiece from the golden age of Japanese cult cinema.

"Beautifully restored on Blu-ray for the very first time anywhere in the world", this release includes both Lady Snowblood and its sequel Lady Snowblood: Love Song of Vengeance.

Available as both a Limited Edition Blu-ray SteelBook™ and a 3-disc Blu-ray & DVD Dual Format Set, features are outlined below...

  • Collector’s booklet “The Crimson Kimono” by critic Tom Mes, illustrated with original stills.
