Cinderella Diamond Edition in September

Disney have announced the UK DVD and Blu-ray release of Cinderella on 10 September 2012. This Walt Disney classic has been newly restored for this Diamond Edition release which also boasts new extras such as an alternate opening sequence exclusively on the Blu-ray release along with a special introduction from Diane Disney Miller, daughter to the legendary Walt Disney. ‘Tangled Ever After’ an all new short featuring Rapunzel and Flynn from the most recent Disney Princess adventure will also feature on both the Blu-ray and DVD.

On Blu-ray the film is presented in 1080p with a new 7.1 track alongside the original 1.0 theatrical mix (both DTS-HD MA format). The DVD release is listed as DD5.1 'Enhanced Home Theater Mix' only.
