Hollywoo (UK) in June

Studiocanal have announced the UK DVD release of Hollywoo on 4 June 2012. French comedy directed by Frederic Berthe and Pascal Serieis. Jeanne (Florence Foresti) is a French voice artist who dubs an American actress (Nikki Deloach: Love and Other Drugs) in a hit TV series. But one day, the American actress blows a fuse and announces she is retiring from acting for good. As a result, Jeanne's life comes crashing down. She realises there is only one thing she can do: go to Los Angeles to find the American star and convince her to head back on set. She initially runs into trouble, but meets Farres (Jamel Debbouze: Days of Glory, Angela), who opens doors for her onto the wonderful and sometimes wacky world of Hollywood.

The only extra is the film's trailer. The film is presented in 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen with French audio (DD5.1 & DD2.0 options) and English subtitles.

About Dave Foster
Dave has been loitering the virtual halls of TDF for a decade now and the majority of that time has been spent as Editor of the Home Cinema section (formerly DVDTimes). He doesn't contribute reviews anywhere near as much as he once did (or indeed would like to) but when he does it will invariably be something in the anime or Asian film area.
