Optimum Releasing have announced the UK Region 2 DVD release of 9 Songs for 27th June 2005 priced at £19.99. 9 Songs is a modern-day love story directed by award-winning filmmaker Michael Winterbottom (Wonderland, 24 Hour Party People, Code 46) that features some of the best bands in music today.

One of the most talked about films of the year so far, the DVD presents the uncut original theatrical version with the following features:
  • 1.85:1 Anamorphic Widescreen
  • Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround
  • Interviews with Michael Winterbottom, Kieran O'Brien and Margo Stilley (28:20)
  • Introduction by Tom Dewe Matthews author of 'Censored: What they didn't allow you to see and why- Story of Film Censorship in Britain' (14:58)
